Expressions at Enumclaw is a community featuring two group homes that accommodate up to 26 residents each. At Expressions, we treat all residents as individuals and make sure that our trained personal care assistants are in tune to their needs.
All of our activities at Expressions are simple, joyful, stress-free and above-all, fun. While the consistency and predictability of the Expressions program work to sooth individuals with dementia, we strive to make activities an integral part of the daily living process.
We schedule all our meals and activities at regular times, maintain appropriate light and noise levels and design all our homes to have safety features that blend in with Expressions surroundings. Whether it be reminiscing over old photos, taking a walk through our herb and vegetable garden, painting or spending time with our Expressions cat, we can help residents with Alzheimer’s or Dementia achieve the highest quality of life.
Our home-like environment features fireplaces, family rooms and mountain views available only in Western Washington. Our community also has its own beauty salon, private dining rooms and a spa area that offers massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, aromatherapy, paraffin wax hand therapy treatments and relaxation exercises.
Our Lasting Impressions end of life care program features furnished rooms with flat screen televisions, wireless high-speed Internet, and kitchenettes with microwave ovens, toasters, coffee makers and accommodations for family members.
Respite care is also available to provide short-term options for in-home caregivers.

Expressions Memory Care
Expressions Memory Care :
Special care is needed when an illness or disability brings about memory loss, confusion or disorientation. Activity programs designed for healthy adults are often too stressful for a person with dementia.
Expressions Memory Care is different. It’s based on the philosophy that activity is more effective when it becomes a rhythm of everyday life.
We focus on the activities of daily living, which are challenging enough for
individuals with memory care needs. We incorporate effective communication and
memory keys into a personalized program that accommodates each individual’s
unique interests and abilities.
Most importantly, we take care of the details so you can focus on the more positive aspects of the relationship with your loved one.
Expressions is now available with temporary or full-time residence. An Expressions community includes specially designed housing apartments to help keep your loved one safe and secure, while a highly trained staff bestows the kindness, understanding, patience and reassurance they deserve 24 hours a day.

Hospice Care
Hospice Care :
The end of life is a period in which every individual deserves compassion, dignity and respect. Our Hospice services provide each individual with the medical care and emotional support they need to make the most of the time they have left with the ones they love.
Our focus is to help relieve pain and other symptoms so residents can live comfortably and alert while maintaining a reasonable course of medical care 24 hours a day. We work cooperatively with the resident and their family to coordinate the delivery of psychological, emotional and spiritual support consistent with each individual’s beliefs and wishes.
We honor living wills, advance directives, and we welcome the involvement of outside counselors, therapists, social workers, aides and volunteers. Visitors of all ages are also welcome to visit residents under hospice care at any time during the day or night.

Pet therapy :
This form of therapy utilizes trained animals and handlers to achieve specific physical, social, cognitive, and emotional goals with patients.
