If appropriate, the coordinator may suggest that the resident ask their primary care physician for a referral to a physical or occupational therapist. We also believe that rehabilitative care and treatment should be delivered throughout a resident’s stay to help reduce the occurrence of injuries after they return home. We strive to duplicate as many real life experiences as possible, allowing them to practice and prepare for the move back home.
